Heritage Texas Properties - Post Oak Park
Gloria Acker

With over 30 years of real estate experience in the Houston community, Gloria Acker has watched and participated extensively in the exciting growth within the Greater Houston areas.

An honors graduate of the University of Houston, Gloria was an original partner in the firm Acker-Blum & Associates prior to its merging with Heritage Texas Properties several years ago.

Gloria’s personal and business philosophy is based on the three “E”s: Experience, Expertise and Enthusiasm. Her long career has been built through the years by matching clients’ needs and offering dedicated service and knowledge of the marketplace within the boundaries of Houston.

Clients receive her full dedication to meeting the challenges of her responsibilities, from inception of a first meeting to closing the transaction. The same quality of attention never waivers. It is given to first-time homebuyers, “moving up” buyers, buyers for new and period homes, as well as new and seasoned investors.

She has served as Program Chair and Chairman of the Houston Association of Realtors’ (HAR) Central-West Breakfast Club and has appeared on related real estate talk shows in the area.

She has been an annual docent for both the Eastwood and the Rice Design Alliance Home Tours in which she holds memberships. Weekly, she volunteers with Dress For Success as a personal shopper for women reentering the work force. She is also a devoted member of MFAH, Preservation Houston, and the National Preservation Society.

Gloria is a former member of the board for the Houston Shakespeare Festival, held annually in Miller Park. She supports all phases of Houston’s visual and performing arts community, including theatre, opera, ballet and jazz productions, as well as a seasoned traveler of the world.

With the same energy that has become her trademark, she hasn’t missed a beat moving into the 21st century in any way.
